Lorraine Lynch was a WGAWL supporter who was always a ray of sunshine. I met Lorraine when she came in to the adoption
center to set up a memorial fund for her mother, Carol Moore. Lorraine was one of those people who made you feel really
good just to know her. Even when she wasn't feeling well due to her health issues, she had a passion about life
which brightened our lives. She would come driving up in her convertible and we always knew it was Lorraine coming up
by her long red hair. She embraced life and loved her family and pets. When she would visit the homeless pets
at our adoption center, she would make a special point to visit and talk to every one because she didn't want any of them
to feel left out. She would hold the senior pets and the pets who had serious health problems and talk softly to them.
I don't know what she said to them, but they always seemed uplifted after their time with Lorraine. Sadly, Lorraine
lost her life at the young age of 55 in May, 2008. I will always remember Lorraine and her compassion for homeless
animals. May she rest in peace. Submitted by: Martina Hemming - President & Executive

James was the son-in-law of our puppy fostermom, Janice Henderson. James and Janice's daughter Tamila were newlyweds,
married in October 2007. As a Special Forces soldier, James lost his life at age 24 in the line of duty while serving
in Afghanistan when his vehicle was hit by a mine and toppled into a canal. I will never forget James' bravery and
dedication to serve his country. May James rest in peace. Submitted by: Martina Hemming - President
